Do you have Apple SILICON OR INTEL? (Instructions)
Step 1. Click the Apple (Top Left of your screen)
Step 2. Click 'About This Mac'
Step 3. Look at the window that pops up....

Which one does it look like?---->

If it says Chip and M1, M2, M3, etc.... then you have an Apple Silicon Chip

If it says Processor and Intel beside it.... then you have an Intel Processor
