A: Almost anything Apple, Social Media and Online Presence related.
I am a problem solver by nature, so if it's not on the list, I may still be able to help - just ask!
Experience?:
10+ years as a Certified Apple Specialist, 10+ years as an Apple Consultant/Coach/Teacher, 15+ Years as a Photographer, plus a Lifetime as a geek.

FAQs

NEW APPLE

Q: Help! I got this Apple thing(iPhone, iPad, iWatch, Mac Computer)... What can I do with it? I don't even know where to start.... 
A: I'd love to help!
Apple has a pretty awesome system, so at any level you can have fun, or make your life more streamline. Tell me which device you have, and some of your interests, and I'll help fill in the blanks and get you started. ( No lingo necessary)

PHOTOS

Q: HELP! My photos are everywhere in my Mac, iPhone etc - I want to make sense of them, I think I have duplicates too! Can you help?
A: Absolutely! I love sorting out the chaos, and also am a photographer so I relate to that situation - send me a message and we can make a plan to sort you out.

Q: I want my Photos to match/be the same on my Apple Devices (iPhone/iPad/Mac Computer). Can you help?
A: Yes! If there's a small amount of photos it's pretty easy, if there's over 10k photos it can take a bit more time. but either way can be done, just send me a message with the description of your situation and we'll find the best solution.

EMAIL

Q: I have too many emails, spam, and I want to organize things - Can you help?
A: Yes! I love organizing the chaos! Message me with a description of your situation and I'll let you know how I can help.

Q: I can't get into my email - it's asking about a password. Can you help?
A: ALMOST ALWAYS - yes - but depending the provider there can be a few possible outcomes. See info below:
(a) I would be happy to help! Telus, Shaw & iCloud often easy to sort out.
(b) Gmail and Yahoo are either possible or not, but I'll let you know - give me a shout with the description of the situation.
(c) If your email is provided by a company/organization/government domain(example: [email protected]) ,  it's best to contact the company who is hosting your email/set that email up to start, after that if they provide instructions that are confusing I can definitely help, or can even make the call to them with you. 

IPHONE

Q: I want to Buy a new iPhone but don't know which one is right for me, can you help?
A: Yes!
There's a lot of choices but that actually makes it easier for us to find a good phone for you. Give me a shout and we'll discuss your current uses and needs to find you a great new option!

Q: I haven't changed my phone plan in years, and don't know the lingo, can you help me talk to the phone company.
A: Yes!
I actually used to work for a cellphone company for 4 years, I love helping people get a better deal if possible too.

ICLOUD

Q: I got a charge for a thing called iCloud, and I am not sure if it is legit? Can you help?
A: Yes - There can be a lot of suspicious emails, it's important to know which emails are real. 
We will check your account to make sure the charge is from Apple, just send a message and we can book a time to look at your devices & Apple account.

Q: Can you help me see if I already have iCloud? How would it benefit me?
A: Yes, I can! Typically iCloud allows your Apple Device to be backed up, so you won't loose anything, but it can also be used to sync your data(contacts, calendars, photos etc) with your other Apple Devices so you only have to update on device and everything else will be updated when connected to the internet. 
Q: Help! My partner and I's have the same Apple ID and now our contacts, messages and/or photos are getting mixed up together, we don't want this, can you help us separate our accounts?
A: Yes! This is actually pretty common. Important: As long you have access to the original Apple ID account(the one on your devices) & are okay to have your contacts, photos, FaceTime, messages & Apple Music completely separate from each other, we can do this. ( *There will still be options to link Calendars, and App Purchases if desired after - just ask)

PASSWORDS

Q: I don't know my password, can you help?
A: Almost always, Yes! Sometimes they're just hiding & sometimes they need a reset.
Important: As long as you have some level of connection to the account that the password is missing from then for we should be fine. (Please have any old notes or old passwords handy, they can be surprisingly helpful!)

Q: I want to have a better system for saving passwords, can you help?
A
: Absolutely! I would love to! There's a lot of choices, some free & some cost so I can show you the options and we'll pick the best one for your needs.

SHOPPING FOR APPLE

Q: I want to buy a fancy new Apple Device, but holy moly, there's too many to choose! Can you help?
A: I'd love to
! There's a ton of choices, so that actually makes it easier to for us to find something that suites you best.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Q: I want to use Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, What's App, Twitter, etc.... Can you help?
A: Yes! Social media can be a great way to keep in touch with friends, family or your business clients. 
I can show you how to make posts, share photos, and also give advice on which social media app is something you'll gain a benefit from depending on your needs. (Some are public, and others can be used privately - I can explain all of that).

PRINTERS

Q: My Printer says it needs an update, Can you help?
A:
 Sometimes! Printers can be fickle, age & so... If I am already helping you with your Apple Tech, I'm happy to have a quick peek at the Printer, if I can solve it fast, great, but if not I will let you know, and then we can look up a local shop or your printer company's contact info.

PC/Windows/Android

Q: I have a PC/Windows Computer/Android Phone, can you help me with it?
A:
 Short answer, no.... but if I am already helping you with your Apple Tech, I'm happy to have a quick peek at the non-Apple device, however, if I can't find the answer fast, I will let you know, and then recommend a Local PC shop for to help you :)
